Tealight Candles, by design are generally considered to be a one use candle. Granted, this one use can have a duration of up 7 hours with the extended burn tealights, but most people find that they are the perfect size for a casual get together, party, peaceful reading session, or long soak in a hot bathtub. What’s perfect about them is that they can easily be tossed and replaced with little to no mess. New scent, new color, new atmosphere. Simple as that.

Groupings can be accomplished through the use of many items, such as glass, metals, colors, heights, and any combination of these elements. In those places where you would normally think on a smaller, less noticeable scale, try a set of taller, more robust candles like pillar candles. Place the tallest candle in back, a shorter candle near it, and then place a mid-sized candle along side the pair. This offers depth and an added sense of elegance. These can be displayed with the cylinder vases shown or the regular round glass holders.

Vigil candles are good to keep on hand in case of a power outage. Vigil candles are great for this purpose because they will burn for 12 to 16 hours. Winter weather sometimes causes power outages, so it is better to be prepared with candles, batteries, and other important items before it happens. Vigil candles should be stored in a cool, dry place. This will ensure that the candles do not melt together and that they are ready to use whenever needed.
