Votive candles are wonderful because they are long burning, but the clean up can be time consuming and messy.  Who really wants to spend their time scraping melted wax out of candle holders?  Well, there is a way to avoid this painful process.  Simply place the candle holders in the freezer for a few hours.  The wax will freeze and shrink just enough to pop right out of the holder.  Rinse away any residue, and the candle holders are ready to go again.
