It’s January and that means winter is upon us. We found some pretty cool decorating ideas for the winter. These ideas are for votive candle holders, or any other type of candle holders for winter weddings, events or simply for decorating your home.

All that’s needed are glass votive holders, a spool of white yarn and double sided tape. A quick change of yarn color and you can use this idea for any season or event.

This next great idea we found on The Sweetest Occasion website. The picture shows numbers for tables at wedding receptions but you can use letters, designs or anything else you prefer. All that is needed are frosted votive holders and strips of small adhesive crystals.

This last one is a clever use of tissue paper. The picture shows a leaf, however, you can use evergreen needles instead for a more wintry look. All you have to do is glue the leaf or needles to the glass votive holders, and after that’s dried, gently decoupage the tissue paper onto the glass.
